Vicky
Vicky’s background was in Human Resources but after the birth of her first child ten years ago and being inspired by her experiences, she re-trained to become a Birth Educator. She has experience in all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting. She first became involved with antenatal education through her work with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT)* where she trained, qualified and gained her experience. She continues to teach and support the work of the NCT, and this combined with her Diploma in Adult Education (Antenatal Education) and ongoing teaching experience, enables her to provide the very highest standard of antenatal education.
As a mother of three, Vicky understands first-hand the mix of concerns facing new parents. In order to provide current and unbiased information in her courses, Vicky continues to update her professional development. In doing so, clients attending a Birth Days Antenatal Course will benefit from current evidence based research and therefore feel more able to make confident informed choices about their labour and birth.
As part of her ongoing Professional Development, Vicky trained and qualified as a Natal Hypnotherapy™ Practitioner. Natal Hypnotherapy™ is now the UK’s leading provider of hypnosis for childbirth.
